Manage your payments
What is a payment?
A payment is a successfully processed transaction. It appears in the Payments tab once the customer has completed the action (paid, authorized, or subscribed).
How to find a payment
- In your panel, make sure you are in the correct environment.
- Go to Activity in the left side menu.
- Select the "Payments" tab.
- Use the filters to narrow down:
- Date: always visible as a chip.
- All statuses: filter by Completed, Refunded, Partially refunded, etc.
- Filters button: add chips for Type, Currency, etc.
- Search bar: search by ID, External ID, email, or card number.
What information is available for each payment?
Before expanding:
- Total: payment amount.
- Date and time it was processed.
- Payment method used.
- External ID: the identifier you defined when creating the payment.
- Payment type: single payment, subscription, or authorization.
- Status: Completed, Refunded, Partially refunded.
When you expand a payment:
- Information: breakdown of the payment with Name, Price, and Recurrence columns.
- Details: SALE ID, PAYMENT METHOD with masked card number, NAME IN PAYMENT METHOD, CARD BRAND, UNIQUE CARD HASH, PAYMENT METHOD ID, and IP.
- Payment status: Captured, On-hold, Refunded, and Total amounts.
- Actions:
- Refund: refund all or part of the payment.
- Block: create risk entries to block future operations with the same data.
- Send receipt: send a payment receipt to the customer.
- Logs:
- History: full payment history with operation type, amount, date, and error code if applicable.
- Notifications: notifications sent to your systems for this payment.
How to refund a payment?
- Locate the payment in Activity ▶︎ Payments.
- Click on it to expand it.
- Click "Refund".
- In the modal, the Amount field is pre-filled with the total. Enter the amount you want to refund (partial refunds are allowed).
- If you do not want a notification sent to your systems, check "Without sending notification to your systems".
- Click "Refund" to confirm.
⚠️ After a full refund, the "Refund" button disappears and no further refunds can be made on that payment.
