What is a Tax for?

A Tax is a percentage added to the amount of what you sell, such as VAT. You create it once with its percentage and apply it to the payment links that need it, without having to calculate it by hand.

How to create a Tax

From Zru you can create a Tax to select it later when you are creating a single-use Payment Link.

Here is how to do it:

• In your panel, make sure you are in the environment where you want to create the Tax.
• Go to Settings in the left side menu and click the "Catalog" tile.
• Select the "Taxes" tab from the horizontal bar.
• Click the "Add Tax" button, at the top right of your screen.
• The "Add" modal will open with two required fields: Name and Percent.
• Once you have filled in the necessary fields, click the "Create" button.
• The Tax will appear in the "Taxes" tab of the "Catalog" section.

Fields to create the Tax

These are the fields that appear when creating the Tax. Here is what each one does.

• Name: required field. This is the name of the tax and it will appear in the information shown to the customer.
• Percent: required field. This is the percentage that will be applied if this Tax is selected.
