What is POS in Zru?

The POS (Point of Sale) section lets you manage your physical stores, the terminals operating in them, and the users allowed to take payments through those terminals.

It is designed for merchants with a physical presence who want to integrate in-store payments with Zru and see all activity in a single panel.

POS manages three entities:

• Stores: physical locations where in-person sales take place.
• Terminals: physical devices linked to a store that process payments.
• POS users: people authorized to operate terminals (cashiers, shop assistants, and so on).

How to access POS

• Go to Settings in the side menu.
• Click the "POS" tile.

You will find three tabs: Stores, Terminals and Users.

Stores tab

This is where you manage your business locations. In the header you have the "Add Store" button and the "Terminal settings" button for global behaviour settings.

The list columns show the store Name, City, State, Country and the count of linked Terminals.

Terminals tab

Management of the physical terminals linked to your stores. The list shows the Name, the Terminal type (for example PAX A920Pro), the Terminal number and the Store it belongs to.

🧐 Terminals are not registered from the panel: Zru registers them when provisioning the device. From here you can edit the details of an existing terminal.

Users tab

POS users are different from Members of the environment (who access the web panel). POS users only operate physical terminals and are linked to specific stores.

The list shows the Name, the Username and the number of assigned Terminals. With the "Add User" button you can create a new one.

Terminal settings

The "Terminal settings" button, available on all three tabs, opens the global settings applied to all your terminals:

• Default currency: the currency your terminals operate in.
• Choose theme: the visual template shown on the device.
• Require login: forces the user to log in before using the terminal. Valid users are those in the Users tab.
• Allow creating transactions: lets you start charges from the terminal itself. If disabled, transactions can only arrive via API or from Requests in the panel.
• Enable QR transactions: allows paying by scanning a QR code with the terminal's camera.
• Enable code transactions: allows paying by entering an operation code on the terminal.
• Allow printing: enables printing the receipt from the terminal.

When you are done, click "Update".

Typical use cases

• Merchants with a chain of physical stores who want to centralize payment operations.
• Mixed businesses (online + physical) who want to see all activity in a single panel.
• Franchises or multi-brand groups that need to segregate terminals and operators by location.
