What is a Product for?

A Product is an item or service with a fixed price that you sell as a one-off. By creating it in the Catalog you define it once, and then you can add it to your payment links without typing the name and price again.

It is useful when you sell the same thing regularly: instead of entering the details in every link, you select the product from the list.

How to create a Product

From Zru you can create a Product to select it later when you are creating a single-use Payment Link.

Here is how to do it:

• In your panel, make sure you are in the environment where you want to create the Product.
• Go to Settings in the left side menu and click the "Catalog" tile.
• Select the "Products" tab from the horizontal bar.
• Click the "Add Product" button, at the top right of your screen.
• The "Add" modal will open with several fields. Two of them are required: Name and Price. The rest are optional.
• Once you have filled in the necessary fields, click the "Create" button.
• The Product will appear in the "Products" tab of the "Catalog" section.

Fields to create the Product

These are the fields that appear when creating the Product. Here is what each one does.

• External reference: optional field. You can use it to identify a product with a reference of your own business.
• Name: required field. This is the name the customer will see.
• Price: required field. This is the price of the product that will be charged to the customer.
• Description: optional field.
