Create a Plan
What is a Plan for?
A Plan is a charge that repeats at set intervals: you use it for subscriptions and recurring payments. When you create it you define the price and how often it is charged, and then you can select it when generating a payment link.
If you do not turn on the Recurrent option, the plan is charged only once.
You can learn more about the Catalog section in this guide.
How to create a Plan
From Zru you can create a Plan to select it later when you are creating a single-use Payment Link.
Here is how to do it:
- In your panel, make sure you are in the environment where you want to create the Plan.
- Go to Settings in the left side menu and click the "Catalog" tile.
- Select the "Plans" tab from the horizontal bar.
- Click the "Add Plan" button, at the top right of your screen.
- The "Add" modal will open with several fields. Three of them are required: Name, Price and Every (the recurrence). The rest are optional.
- Once you have filled in the necessary fields, click the "Create" button.
- The Plan will appear in the "Plans" tab of the "Catalog" section.
Fields to create the Plan
These are the fields that appear when creating the Plan. Here is what each one does.
- External reference: optional field. You can use it to identify a plan with a reference of your own business.
- Name: required field. This is the name the customer will see.
- Price: required field. This is the price of the plan that will be charged to the customer.
- Description: optional field.
- Every: required field. This is the recurrence, how often the plan will be charged to the customer.
- Unit: can be Day, Month or Year. It refers to the previous field (Every) and is the unit of time after which the customer will be charged.
- Recurrent: optional field. If it is not turned on, the plan will only be charged once.
