Why is the panel asking me to change my password?
For security reasons, Zru panel passwords expire every 90 days. If your password is more than 90 days old and you do not have two-step authentication enabled, you will see a screen asking you to sort this out before you can continue.
⚠️ This screen cannot be skipped. Logging out and back in does not bypass it, and neither does typing the address of another section of the panel.
Your two options
- Enable two-step authentication: this is the recommended option. Once enabled, you will not see this screen again no matter how much time passes. We explain how in this guide.
- Change your password: enter your current password and the new one. The new password will expire again after 90 days.
🧐 The new password cannot be the same as your previous one. If you reuse it, the panel warns you.
If it appears while you are working
If your password reaches 90 days with the panel already open, the next action you take sends you to this screen with an explanation of what to do. Your session is not closed without warning.
As soon as you sort it out, either by enabling two-step authentication or by changing your password, you carry on working as usual and the screen stops appearing.
