# Manage IVR

# What is the IVR section?

In **Settings** ▶︎ **IVR** you can customize the texts the voice system uses during an IVR call to communicate with your customers.

To learn more about what IVR is and how to view the call history, [read this guide](#).

# The language list

When you enter the IVR section you will see the list of languages configured for your environment. Available languages are: Spanish, Catalan, French, English, German, and Galician.

From the header you can add new languages with the **"New language"** button.

# Configuring a language

Click on the language you want to edit. A modal will open with the following options:

## Default

The **"Default"** toggle marks the language that will be used when the customer does not specify one. There must always be one language set as default.

## Customizable texts

You can customize the 7 texts the IVR speaks during the call:

1. **Initial greeting**: welcome message. Use `%s` twice: the first is replaced by the amount to pay and the second by the currency.
2. **Thank you for entering the 16 digits**
3. **Invalid card number**
4. **Please re-enter the numbers**
5. **Card Verification Code (CVV)**
