# Manage checkout themes

# What is a Theme?

A theme is a visual style template that defines the appearance of your checkout screens: colors, fonts, button styles, logo, and more.

Themes are created at the environment level and can be applied to one or more Checkouts.

# How to create a Theme

- Go to **Settings** ▶︎ **Themes**.
- Click **"Create theme"**.
- Customize the visual elements as needed.
- Click **"Publish"** to save.

# How to apply a Theme to a Checkout

When creating or editing a Checkout, select the desired theme in the **Theme** field of the basic information section.

# How to edit or delete a Theme

From the Themes list, click on the theme you want to modify. Make your changes and click **"Publish"**.

To delete a theme, make sure it is not being used by any active Checkout before removing it.
